CWE provides hands-on, practical experience for second and third year law school students. Students will assist the Center’s supervising attorneys in various programs and campaigns that impact wildlife or the environment. As funding allows, scholarships may be awarded to students interested in participating in the American Bar Association’s Animal Law committee, provided issues of interest further CWE’s mission. Students will be introduced to a high standard of technical competence and professionalism in the practice of law. Equally important, all students will gain an awareness of wildlife protection issues and the importance of public interest law that will carry into their future careers.
Travel awards to various conferences may be provided for practicing attorneys with a keen interest in wildlife legal issues. Please contact [email protected] for additional information.
